Metro Dubai

Dubai berusaha untuk menukar label dari sebuah negara berteraskan ekonomi hasil minyak kepada negara pelancongan.
Pemerintah Dubai, Sheikh Muhammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum sedar hakikat bahawa minyak negaranya dijangka habis pada 2016. Maka, puluhan projek dirangka segera untuk menjamin survival Dubai.
(negara arab lain,tidur dengan duit lagi?)

Bercakap soal transport, yeah, Dubai is almost comparable to London of being tourist-friendly.
Entri kali ini kita tengok metro Dubai.

Setiap stesen rekabentuknya paling-paling cincai pun macam ni jela yang mampu. covered. why?

Sense of 5-star service once you enter one of their main station.
Here, Burjuman or Khaled el Waled station, functioning as Sadat in Cairo.
Staff sat at the back of glass window talking with customer using a mini microphone.
Once a while i felt like being at Victoria station,requesting for their Oyster Card.
Everything is computerized.

This kind of design is exactly the same as the new Jubilee Line Underground Extension project.
Waterloo ( or Westminster or both of it? i barely remember).

Well, it functions to reduce the impact of suicide bomber attack either from the platform or from the train itself. Also it prevents people from falling into the gap between the train and the platform.


Look how it was lavishly decorated. Where are the poor? Or do they even exist in dubai?


This silver nol card. The "touch and go" version of Dubai metro. Just flash it onto the turnstile.
You can also use it for riding a bus.


Sometime i just couldn't take it anymore.

so they can live the dream out of their midday nap.

You will pay double if you opt to take the gold class car.
but hey, i dont think it's worth your money.
